how did you get the rod for 175? thats awesome for a 300 dollar rod.

Me niether. I just paint rubber bands and sharpen paper clips for hooks. Pair them up with a stick and some thread. ;D

Yesterday we started reorganizing the selves after the holidays and one of the guys was doing the reels. Way in the back he finds two Shimano Calcutta's one is a 200 the other is a 250, both are the old models with out the B after the model numbers. Since these are discontinued he scans the IPC bar and up pops the price of $89.99, needless to say he bought them both.
