Got this rod with a Pflueger Trion for x mas...what set up would you use this for.  Seems like a nice rod for jigs around docks where a shorter rod with some backbone could come in handy.

I have that rod in 6'6" and it is very sensitive, and a good quality rod.  I use for fishing soft plastic worms mostly.  It has plenty of backbone for fishing jigs as long as you are not fishing really heavy cover.
