Thought I would send a quick post out and see if there is anyone knowledgeable about Pickwick...I just got in town (Decatur) and plan on fishing/scouting Wheeler for a few days and then hit up Pickwick. I am scouting for the elite series next year...this will be my rookie season. Never been on these bodys of water and any guidance would be great. I plan on marking a lot of areas and exploring but we could fit in a cast or two for sure! I asked this ? a few months back and can't find it anymore or the responses for some reason. But I am going to head down to Naples for a few days this month....I would like to fish Okeechobee on Jan. 23rd and or the 24th. Would be willing to pay for all gas expenses for a back seat. Thought Id check here before looking for a guide since a lot of my guide budget is going to go to saltwater fishing a few days prior. I am an experienced bass fisherman but would need to use your equipment since I will be flying in for some business meeting earlier that week. Any help would be great....Also could trade a trip for some massive smallies up in WI sometime if you get up to my area. Thanks in advance Travis

Im heading to Naples January 22nd-25th (girlfriend has a business meeting down there) Any help on were I should try to do some bass fishing? Lake Okeechobee comes to mind? Or is there any other bodies of water around there worth taking a look? If anyone knows of any good guides they would recommend or if anyone wants to trade a trip or something we could do that? I am from Wisconsin and could put you on some great smallmouth fishing on the Lake Michigan. Any ideas let me know I appreciate it..... Thanks Travis

Got this rod with a Pflueger Trion for x mas...what set up would you use this for. Seems like a nice rod for jigs around docks where a shorter rod with some backbone could come in handy.
