I keep this rod in NC for when I visit family

I don’t think I’ve had a fish come unbuttoned on this rod yet. 
It’s a little heavy and clumsy compared to what I’m used to, but dang, it works

Lew's has some rods in the 30 to 75 dollar range that are real sleepers. I have two of the laser hs rods that are 6'10" and they are two of my favorite rods. Shockingly good for 30ish bucks.

Of this line the 74H is the standout rod.  I use it as a 1 to 3 oz big bait rod.  For 610M or a 7MH I prefer the Hank Parker IM8 Speed Sticks.  They lighter and better balanced than the IM6 SG1s.
