Helix 10 G2N Map Card Question

Featured Replies

I have a Helix 10 G2N that I would like to update to a new map card. It appears that the new Lakemaster cards are not compatible with the G2N models. The new Navionics cards do look like they are compatible. Am I missing anything, or is the Navionics card going to be the only way to have the latest maps?

You could buy a legacy LakeMaster card if you can find one or you can buy and download the data to your own card at the link below.

Will the legacy Lakemaster be better than a new Navionics?  I mainly fish Chickamauga and Nickajack, so those are my main concern in finding the best maps.

I would prefer the older LakeMaster maps over Navionics.   The LakeMaster maps of the Tennessee river are excellent.  I have the old and new versions.   The update is more about the way the maps are displayed on the screen than updated contour lines.

Perfect. That’s exactly what I was looking for.

They added Tim’s Ford to the latest LakeMaster.   The legacy maps don’t have it.  I’m pretty sure Navionics has it.  That’s something to consider if you fish that lake.

It is listing it as a standard definition lake on the legacy download, but it’s not a lake I will be fishing. Chickamauga, Nickajack, and Guntersville are my primary areas that I want the better mapping for.
