Looking for a spot to fish near Fall River MA

So I have a buddy that lives just over the border in RI and he’s asked I take him and his 11 year old fishing. I’ve been looking to explore places outside my comfort zone (within 8 miles of my house) so this is a great excuse to travel to a different area.

I’m looking for suggestions on some kid friendly bank fishing in the area. So far South Watuppa looks interesting. MAPaddler.com says 1/3 of the bank is accessible by foot, it doesn’t look it from google but maybe.. it also says it suffers from algae blooms. One of my local favorites is in an algae bloom right now.. can anybody tell me what Watuppa looks like currently?
