quantum PT series

Featured Replies

The quality of parts used in making the PT series.  So I was told.

I know for sure that the Worm Shaft is bigger than the Accurist PT and the Accurist CX.

That is all I know of right now.  Sorry, not much help.

And as far as the PT rods, probably better blanks, guides, etc.... than the regular Tour Edition series.

I have a PT spinning rod, med action, that I got for free with a bundle of other Quantum rods I got from a Quantum rep.  Amazingly light rods with a really nice feel.  They might be a little high, price wise, at the price point they're selling them at but if you get one you certainly won't be disappointed.

I've used the Quantum KVD, Accurist CX, and the Accurist PT and the only difference I noticed was the price.  The Energy and Tour Edition are in another league and worth the extra money.

What Reelmech said! I use several Accurist PT's and they are smooth IMO.I'm thinking Performance Tuned means better materials used, and put together better.ASK REELMECH!!!
