Howdy everybody. Hoping I can get some S.O.S. help, on a family vacation with the family at lake Ouachita. Put my baitcaster on the rod and the handle turns, line guid travels with handle turns, spool is stationary. It worked fine when I used it last, has never been disassembled. spool spins fine when I move it manually with my thumb. thump bar engages and disengages just fine, any ideas? thanks.

Have you checked the drag and do you have straight braid on the spool?
