Hey guys,

I currently have three Antares DC, two 21 models, and one 23 MD model. All three have two similar problems. They will cast perfectly for awhile then all of a sudden I will get a big backlash sometimes causing my line to snap or my trailer to rip apart. No matter how much I adjust the tension knob it will still happen out of the blue and also no matter what brake setting it is on. The second problem that all three reels have is that all of a sudden when reeling in the reel will make a grinding noise for a little then it will go away and come back. Not sure if anyone has had these problems before and if so what to do to fix the issues.
