Hey guys, I currently have three Antares DC, two 21 models, and one 23 MD model. All three have two similar problems. They will cast perfectly for awhile then all of a sudden I will get a big backlash sometimes causing my line to snap or my trailer to rip apart. No matter how much I adjust the tension knob it will still happen out of the blue and also no matter what brake setting it is on. The second problem that all three reels have is that all of a sudden when reeling in the reel will make a grinding noise for a little then it will go away and come back. Not sure if anyone has had these problems before and if so what to do to fix the issues.

Hey everyone, I am just looking for some purchase advice on my next new reel, I am currently looking at the Antares DC MD 23 to replace my curado dc150 and 200 since they both broke but the only thing that is stopping me on pulling the trigger on it is that everywhere I read is saying it is meant for large lures and was wondering if anyone has had experience throwing light lures or weightless plastics around with the Antares DC MD and if it works well. I want the ability to throw a big spectrum of weights on my next reel.
