Featured Replies

Hello I have an older Japanese Shimano Conquest 201 DC.I bought the reel used online so I am not sure exactly what year the reel is.While fishing one of the handles became stripped out and fell in the drink ,sounds like a pretty common issue lol.have several questions the first is.How do I go about figuring out exactly what year this reel is.The second question is where do I find a replacement handle for this reel?

Thank you

Should have a serial number under the reel mount and model number on the side plate.

Call Shimano for part number order

Do you mean whole assembly handle or just a knob? You can install any Shimano knob on Shimano handle (none rivet)

I have the same reel and you have me worried.  It's an old reel that I like a lot.  It dates back almost 20 years.  It's been flawless and I use it a lot.  Looked on line and could not find problems with the handles.
