I saw this information in a post ther other day and I cannot find it to save my life.

I would like to know what the counter parts of the us model Spinning and US model casting reels are in Japan

ie

Antares DC = Calais DC

I am interested in the Twin power 3000 but I am not sure which one to purchase.

I am also trying to find out which of the Japan spinning reels are related to the Stradics

Be careful when you order a Japanese spinning model or you will get a nasty surprise when you open the box, check the model denomination, all those letters behind the reel size mean this:

S = shallow spool, meaning a shallow spool designed for fishing with 3-5 pound test JAPANESE MONOFILAMENT LINE or with PolyEthilene line = braided.

PG/HG = heavy duty model

DH = double handle

BAITCASTING

Antares DC = Calais DC

Antares DC7 = don 't know if there is a Calais DC7

Antares = Calais 200

Metanium XT = Chronarch 100 B

Scorpion Mg = Chronarch Mg

Scorpion Quickfire = Castaic

Scorpion 1000/1001 = old Curado 100

Scorpion Mg & Scorpion 1000/1001 incorporate EXTERNAL centrifugal adjustment.
