So, I was under the impression if I am not the original owner for any of the rods after August 2020 when they started the serial numbers.  I wouldn’t be able to use any of the warranty programs including the xpeditor program.  However, a friend of mine said that wasn’t true that I still can use the xpeditor service on the newer rods.  Anyone here have any experience on this? And can verify?  I’ve been ignoring used G Loomis rods due to this and always just bought new.  
 

 

Warranty program, you won't be able to use. Expeditor you'll be able to use no problem though.

Understood about the warranty, more getting clarity on the Xpeditor service.  I expect the used rod went through the paces and no warranty issues would exist.  You have done this with the newer rods with serial numbers?  

I have, worked fine. But as I think about it that was on a rod that they replaced (pre-serial) so that might have been part of it. Worth emailing/calling.
