I would really like to start an updated post about the Pro 120's.  Just to get some insight on what others have done to theirs.

A few months back, I found a Sun Dolphin Pro 120 on FB Marketplace.  I traded the guy a Blackstone griddle for it.  It looks almost new.  So me being me, I wanted to make it better by extending both decks, adding depth finder, lights, etc.....

I am now ready to do all the wiring.  I have tried the magnet idea, but there is insulation in the way.  I really want to split the boats hull to run all the wires.  I think this would allow me to run all the wires and hide them in the hull.  BUT, I have been told by others who have split theirs before, that it is not worth splitting just to do the wiring.  Has anyone done this before l that might share some details about putting it back together?

Also, is there any other modifications that anyone else has done to these boats before?

I will do my best to update my progress throughout my rebuild.

Here are a few pics of the start of the process.  I am still adding the aluminum for the deck extensions.  After I finish with the aluminum, I'm hoing to start the wiring process.

Here are some pics of the trailer remodel.  I started off with my old 14' flat bottom boat trailer.  I stripped everything off of it and grinded all the old paint off.  I primed everything and painted.  I got new tires and rims, new winch, new jack, and lights.  I had to fabricat some bunk risers (I wasn't going to pay $100 for some) and they turned out great.  I used decking boards for the bunks.  I wanted to add some side bunks as well, so I fabricated those as well.  I think everything turned out well on the trailer.
