Need help fixing my reel on my Zebco 808 Boss Hawg step by step

I got my little brother this zebco fishing rod and only lasted half a year. The problem is that the drag could not work and the string just flies by. i added grease around the black center, it fixed for a second but went back to the original problem

anything helps !

    Go out to YouTube and search "zebco 808 service".  YouTube contributor OutFishing13 has a number of Zebco service and tuning videos that are very easy to follow.  He will also respond to comments if you run into any problems along the way.

    I did but couldn't find nothing that looks like the reel on the inside and none fixing the drag.

    If Zebco currently follows their past business model, if you send in the reel for repairs, they will send you a new reel with no charge.
