Rod Recommendation

Featured Replies

I need a spinning rod between 7'5 to 7'9 medium to medium heavy for wolf river rigging. I will be throwing 3/4 oz to 1 oz pencil weight. Looking for a lighter balance rod to be using for all day use thanks guys.

Can't help.  I'd add a bit more information in the title.  bulldog1985 may be able to help.  I gave up spinning except for light lures (3/16 oz. and below).  I think you should look at saltwater rods.  Bass spinning rods of that length for that weight don't seem to be very popular.

I decide to pick up this Dobyn Xtasy 754sf spinning rod. Look like amazon have sales on some spinning and casting model xtasy. This will be my first Dobyn rod hopefully it better than my edge rod I been using for wolf river rigging.Screenshot_20250421_223606_SamsungInternet.jpg.bc48110a90f10d7af7bc876629f033f4.jpg
