Let’s talk summertime bass fishing with soft plastic jerk baits. 2-time MLF AOY Michael Neal walks you through his favorite setups for summer. By using these soft plastic jerk bait techniques in summer, you’ll be prepared to catch more bass, no matter where they’re hiding!

I like the vid.  I fish a fluke a lot  during summer in the Everglades.  Mostly Texas rigged with a pegged weight.  We have massive flats all 2 to 3 feet deeper with man made canals cut through the flats.  During low water periods the canals will be full of fish and the fluke will get hit along the 12 foot ledges.  100 fish days are the norm during low water times, and during summer many are deep hugging the ledge walls . Watermelon red flukes are irresistible to our Florida strain bass.
Thanks for the vid, excellent job.
