A buddy and I are fishing the Deep Creek Lures derby tomorrow. We practiced today. We leaned into a few and shook off several.

We've found a 200 yard stretch that's loaded. I can't wait!

Feast or famine ruled the weekend.

I have never been more confident than I was Saturday morning.  We caught fish but not a one that hit the 16" minimum.  It was comical.

@whitwolfYep 16" min is tough to get a limit.

I thought N.C. had a 12 inch minimum?

Here in Fl. we have a 5 fish limit, only one over 16 inch.

Come tourney day we have to get a waiver from the FWC to have more then one fish over 16" which is easy to do in a club, but a pain for the tourney director.
