Sufix Siege or Elite?

Featured Replies

My question was what would best for a curado 100 bsv reel, 8lb test elite or siege, and in what color? I usually use Clear blue but im not sure if the color has anything to do with bass striking. Would i be better off with clear or smoke green? or does it even matter?

The choice between siege and elite is a preference thing.  Siege is a slightly stronger, more abrasion resistant.  Elite is a softer line with a little less memory and a little more managability.  Both of them are excellent lines.

I think color depends on the water clarity of where you fish.  If you fish gin clear water I would go with clear.  If your water is stained or muddy you might be better off with green.  For me, I prefer the clear blue because it is easier for me to see when I'm watching my line.

i agree with hawgin,,except my personal preference is 8# siege in smoke green...i choose green because it matches the water i fish in very closely

right i always have used clear blue but then i was also wondering if the color has anything to do with the bass striking?

I am partial to the Siege myself.

I like it in either Green or Tangerine. I use the tangerine 90% of the time.

I fish mainly rivers and they arent exactly super clear, and I like to line watch.

Thats my reasoning for using Tangerine. If your worried about line visability I would go with the green or clear.
