the ocean has been my latest fling. I love it. I do however wish there was two of me, because I have flat out neglected bass fishing.

this weekend the ocean would drown me and send my unmanned kayak to Japan. so I checked the weather at my secret bass lake. it is in the mountains. secluded. even secluded from the winds.

zero miles per hour.!!! yes. time to dust off my bass gear. I just gassed my truck for the off road adventure that gets me to the lake.

my new commitment is to rekindle my love for the LMB. I will use the fickle weather patterns in the pacific to my advantage. I go freshwater when salt water conditions are dangerous.

gah.. I hope bass skills dont atrophy that quickly. D

Same thing happens to me. Trophy tarpon running our local beaches and I have to switch gears for them, which can last all summer. Meantime, giant bass roaming out in the glades. I agree: wish I could sometimes be two people! But it’s nice to have those kinda problems.
