Cabelas E Glass rod?????????????

Featured Replies

Saw that Cabelas has the EGlass  (Fibreglass) casting rods on for around 15 dollars. Does anyone know anything aboutthese rods? I am looking for fiberglass rods to Crankbait with. Help if you can

Don't know about Cabelas but if you have a Gander Mtn. near you I have their Advantage Series 7ft Med Heavy E-Glass crankin stick and love it they run $30 and unlike the rest of the Advantage series these rods are made with FUJI reel seats and guides. They also have a 6'6" med E-Glass rod.

Bass Pro has their crankin' sticks on sale right now for $29.  Normally they are $49.  I would check those out.

This biggest down side to the Cabelas cranking rod is that it is 2 pieces unless you get the shortest one.  I would definitely look at the BPS crankin stick for $29, it is well worth it even at full price in my opinion.

E glass is 1 up from fibreglass they are good cranking rods I do own 1 but don't use it.

I just got my BPS Crankin Stick today. We have a Cabela's real close to us I went to see the Eglass rods, I USUALLY LOVE ALL CABELAS OFFERS, but these rods didnt seem to cut the mustard, especially being 2 piece and the guides werent up to par either. So I ordered the BPS Carnakin stick I got it today i ordered the pistol gril 6 foot Med I CANT WAIT TO USE IT IT FEELS PRETTY NICE  I put a Cabelas Tournament ZX on it and what a mtach!!!!!! SWEET
