Lew's Laser 300HS Schematic?

Featured Replies

OK - I did it by the book - as I took the reel apart I laid the parts out in assembly order. My mistake was going upstairs to make a sandwich for my grandson and I and leaving him in the shop. He's now "helped" grandpa by rearranging the parts from smallest to largest (clever little booger). I don't have the schematic - the reel belongs to my fishin' partner and he don't have the schematic but he did have a few choice words about children. Can anyone help with a schematic? If not, anyone want to buy a very used, dirty Laser 300HS in pieces (just kidding). Mike

No you didn't, first off no kids in the shop, and second no schematic in front of you......

You might try Mikesreelrepair.com.  That sight has pretty many downloadable schematics for many different reels.

Not that one.

I checked my service manuals I don't have it. I checked Mikes he doesn't have it, I also check SWParts they don't have it.

So the logical thing is to do what I recommended in the first place....

FYI - first of all thanks for all your responses. I contacted Lew's customer service phone # as suggested which is actually Quantam and repeatedly got a recording so left a message stating that I needed a schematic for a Lew's Laser 300HS. That was on 4/24 at 8:00. So far no response.

If any has a schematic, I'd be happy to pay costs of copying and postage. My next option is to buy a Laser 300HS for an example and this time do it by the right book as Reel Mech suggested.

thanks all - Mike

Got it ReelMech - I owe you - thanks Mike!

mikeno,

Just promise you won't open any reel up without the schematic, and train the little one on the proper way to lay out the parts.. ;)

With the help of the schematic you provided it's back together and appears to be working. I had the one way roller bearing reversed. But, just to make sure I'm heading to Lake Oz Wednesday to give it a "field test". Bass are moving to the beds, full moon tomorrow, gotta go! I'm leaving my grandson with a Zebco 33 and a schematic to keep him occupied.

thanks again - Mike

Hey Mike, you think you could send me that Schematic for the Lews 300Hs reel? I had 2 and one of the bases broke so i swapped them out then i started having trouble with it and when I opened it up, I had the schematic, the bearings fell out. Luckily I had the schematic, well halfway through my wife deiced to come in with groceries. and when I came in with the groceries she had thrown away the schematic and moved all of the parts out of the way and out of order. If you can send me that schematic it would be greatly appreicated.

Hey mike could you send me the schematic for this reel? I did the same thing except my wife threw away the schematic.
