$100 Budget for 2-Piece

Featured Replies

I'm looking to spend $100 or less on a 2-Piece that will serve as an all purpose rod (1/8 to 1/2 oz).  It will spend a lot of time being left in the car or tent.

I'm thinking about grabbing the Browning Midas (Boron) while it is on sale for $99.  Should I consider something like the St. Croix Premier instead?

I currently have a BPS Extreme 1-Piece and plan to "upgrade" next year.

Thanks

I think the Extreme is a pretty good rod.  Not sure either of the rods you mention would be a significant upgrade.

You can get a new 2-piece Extreme right now for $65, and I think that's hard to beat.
