They don't work with the stock handle.   >:)  I have wanted to get cork knobs on my shimanos but they don't work.

If you were to get a zpi or bassart handle you can get cork knobs.

    Daiwa cork knobs are not compatible with Shimano handles, Daiwa handles have a straight shaft, in Shimano the shaft is grooved in the mid third. If you want cork knobs you need to change the handle assembly for a compatible one, ZPI & Bassart manufacture such handle assembly.
