Is the action of a 5'6" Berkley Lighting Rod with a pistol grip suitable for using with topwaters?

    My old LRs have fast action, a lil bit stiff for baits with treble hooks specially true in the LR16 56MH.

    I use a 6'6 LR in MH with topwaters and have no complaints.I'm no expert on the science of different rods for different baits.I just go by what feels good and performs well.
