While the forums were down I bought  a 6'6" Shimano Compre ML baitcast rod for my Daiwa Advantage. This rod and reel rocks. I got it Friday and by Saturday evening I was able to throw 1/4 topwaters and rattle traps with the brake set at 5. I never good even throw a 1/2 more than five times without a backlash with my Abu Garcia 4600. I love this rig, I am making plans for a second setup  with same reel and rod except in a MH action.
