tell me what to do with these

Featured Replies

I just bought a couple of avids. Now I have two rods that have been replaced. The upside is that this gives me an excuse to buy two new reels. Probably revo sx's. The thing I'm unsure about is what should I set them up for? So, what lures do you guys think I should set these rods up for given the charecteristics: cranks, spinners, t-rigging, general purpose, etc? Help me make up my mind.

all star instinct 6'6 M

croix triumph 7' m/h

Really need more info, honestly. All I know is that you have two rods, and the length. You listed the power, but the action plays a part as well as the line/lure rating, etc.

Then again, don't let that be the end-all-be-all either, It's perfectly OK to use a worm rod for cranking if that's what works best for you!
