  1. I have the premier glass crankbait rod. I only have one rod for crankbaits. It covers the gamet for me and I like it. I think it was $90 at the time I bought it.
  2. Maybe I wasn't clear in my first post. I already bought this stuff. I just used that link to show what it was. Sorry for the confusion.
  3. fellas, After reading that reelmagic is basically overpriced silicon spray, I went to the store and picked up this http://www.shop.com/Technical_Chemical_Silicone_Lubricant_11_oz_-17009939-p!.shtml It doesn't seem to be the same. Should I use it on my line? It has an odor to it and I don't remember that with reelmagic.
  4. hey man, here's a quick link to a page where a guy made his own. It has pictures for reference and an overview of how he did it. http://www.mexfish.com/sjdc/sjdc2004/sjdc040614a/sjdc040614a.htm
  5. It depends on what it's compared to. Some would say that carrot is a good alternative. If you're asking if it's better than graphite then the answer is usually yes.
  6. Maybe, it's sort of off topic but, I just bought a spool of the #6 and had a lot of trouble with it. I really have a hard time thinking that I spooled it wrong as I spooled twice and went through the whole drag it out behind the boat process. I got a lot of twists and eventually had to retire that set-up for the day as it was unfishable. I'll try another spool to give it a fair shot, but I was really disappointed.

I don't know about a dynasty....You could build a case, but I don't think a team that is a dynasty needs a case built. I know you'll all hate this but, there was no denying the yankees dominance a few years ago, that was a dynasty. The BoSox will be on the way for sure but I don't think they'll hit that mark with one more.
  8. Keep in mind when reading that you don't and never will play for "your" team. Additionally, you are never a part in a win for "your" team, ever. You have no impact whatsoever on the performance of your team. So, this means that you are no cooler if your team is successful, it does however create an opportunity for you to make an arrogant a*s of yourself. This isn't an attack on any one person, but rather the ranting collective who gloat without social grace. The pats are good, this is their time. Eventually, because of the cap, they will be a ***** team, this is the business of sports. As will any other team that enjoys extended success in the NFL. Remember when the niner's were good? Randy Moss is everything that is wrong with professional sports. Sure he's talented, but were he not an athlete he'd probably steal your car. Keep in mind that his effort is only dictated by the teams performance and the number of times he's thrown at. That's lazy, plain and simple. Try that same thing at work and see how many people talk about how awesome you are. Only in America. Were I a pats fan, I could'nt root for him and then try to teach a child about right and wrong. Tom Brady is good, everyone already knows this. Belichik has done some questionable things, I'm not saying he's a cheat, but if it looks like a cat and sounds like a cat, it's probably a cat. Take that however you want. It's a game, and you don't play in it. Be a fan with some class instead of a windbag.
  9. The small things about your personality, (bands, cars, gossip) all that changes with time. The one or two people you know and who know you, really know you........ will be a constant in your life for awhile. Maybe not forever, but a long while. You're going to change a lot after high school, well always for that matter, but the core of your personality will remain the same. If you've found a couple people who know you at that core, then you have all the friends you need. Maintain those few friendships now, take the time out to be a true friend to the guys that have earned your respect, weather they pay that back is how you measure their worth to you.
  10. Man, I bet it's hard to have a class-act like tom brady on your team, and then try to support a guy like randy moss, without supporting a guy like randy moss.
  11. I've been listening to a lot of the chatter about boston today and I've noticed one common denominator. There are some RedSox fans who a true fans, people who know the crushing feeling of the name "bucky dent." Then, there are some people who thought the idea of the '04 season was neat and now they have a boston hat. Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken. Congratulations to all of you redsox fans who endured Wade Boggs riding around on a new york city police horse, you guys deserve to have these days.
  12. I have an accurist PT that I use for pitching and heavy worming. I like it. I like the flippin switch.
  13. It's the daiwa light and tough TL-631-4RB MH R 6'3" 1 10 - 17 3/16 - 1 TL-661-5RB H R 6'6" 1 12 - 25 3/8 - 1 1/4 TL-661-4RB MH R 6'6" 1 10 - 17 3/16 - 1 TL-701-5RB H R 7' 1 14 - 30 1/4 - 1 1/2 TL-701-3FB M F 7' 1 8 - 14 1/8 - 1
  14. Actually, I tried that (with two pauses as opposed to three) with the first reel full as I thought that maybe I'd spooled it wrong.
  15. I've not used the light stuff before (6# ultra-soft) and I spooled some up on one of my spinning reels. I could'nt fish with it. The memory was really, really bad, and it had been on the reel for three days. It got a lot of twist knots. I had to put that rod/reel away for the day. *I even tried spooling up another time just to make sure that I didn't spool it wrong the first time. What's the deal? * I do know how to spool a spinning reel and should be able to do it correctly one out of two times.
