Rapala Rods

Featured Replies

Not sure if this has been covered yet, but could not find it on the search. Rapala has some new rods out that given the opportunity, you should check out. I had a chance to use one that was a demo and loved it. By feel alone, not much difference to me than my St Croix Legends. I have not seen them for sell yet, but wouldn't mind picking up a few. Very light and did well on on the Mexican lake. I would assume they will be on the lower end for a quality rod price wise. Any thoughts?

I have a ML spinning 6'6" Very nice rod.  Light weight, casts well, good sensitivity, comfortable hump on the grip.  I think I would buy more but i can't find them.  I also ahve an 5' UL I got at Wally Mart on closeout for about $10.  Fitted it with a cheap daiwa reel and some 10# braid (2# dia.)  and use it for the real small lures.

I have a 5'6" light rod for panfish.  I like it a lot.  I accidentally caught two decent bass on them as well and the rod held up fine.
