Fly-fishing
OHHHHH yeah. If I could buy my gear all over again, I would have given up most of my bass rods and got 2-3 nice, nice fly rods and reels. No new gear for me anytime soon the way gas price are going. Cheers!

Musky Fishing
If you're just looking to catch and not really gonna get into it hardcore, in my opinion, big in-line spinners work very well. I like black with orange and yellow. Big Rapala lures work just fine too. I've got a buddy who catches them on big, cheap saltwater swimbaits. Go figure. Don't make it too complicated for yourself.

The Mepps Aglia in size 2 or 3 work great as well.

Will bass die if they swallow plastic worms?
Just curious. I'm guessing they should be smart enough to spit it out but what if they get a hold of that Berkley flavored stuff and can't resist it. Cheers.

Fly Fishing for Crappie
Here is my gear: 8 1/2 foot, 5 wt. with a 4x or 5x tippet. I use brown wolly buggers in size 8. I'm sure olive, black or white buggers would work too. Summer time, floating line. Cooler weather, add a sink tip to your fly line and then attach leader to sink tip. A lot cheaper than having a to buy an sinking/sink tip line. Cheers.

Spooling a Spinning Reel
- WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MUSKY LURE?
Mine is the Bull Dawg in white and blue. I use the 9 inch version. (No comments from Muddy please) ;D hahaha. I've never caught anything on it though. Still, it's my favorite to fish. I also like to fish depth raiders. Again, nothing though. What I HATE to fish, in-line spinners. What have I caught my two on, in-line spinners. Disgraceful. Oh, don't get me going. I feel a fever running in my viens. I'm gonna have to take a few sick days and fly up north to visit some relatives if anymore of this musky stuff comes up. Cheers.- Help me set up my crappie arsenal
You guys ever fish road runners with success for crappie?- Flyrod suggestions
Whatever rod weight you decide to go with, I recommend getting Orvis Wonderline. It stays slick longer than other lines I've fished with and seems to pick up less water residue.- Good stretchy line to compensate for fast action rod tip
Hahahahahhhahaha!! I gotcha Muddy. Took a minute but I gotcha, now.- Good stretchy line to compensate for fast action rod tip
Hahahahahhahaahha.- Bad food combinations that tore you up!!!
Just the other day, I had some spaghetti (a big ole plate by the way) and afterwards, I ate me a few handfuls of red grapes...man, that tore me up. I felt sick as a slug with salt poured over it. Last week, I went striper fishing in Virginia Beach and we stopped to eat at this seafood/steak place and they served spaghetti with EVERYTHING. I asked a fella about the pasta and he said it was great. It tasted like high school food to me. Then imagine, eating that bowl of pasta on the side with a peice of flounder!! Murder. What have been some of your weirdest combinations of food or what has been the strangest things you've eaten for a meal that is typically not eaten. For example, pot roast for breakfast. Cheers!- Help me set up my crappie arsenal
Hey, What are some "must have" jigs, grubs, etc. in your tackle box? What colors and suggestions on how to fish 'em? What size jig heads? Cheers.- Good stretchy line to compensate for fast action rod tip
Gentlemen, I just blew some money on a Musky rod instead of a CB rod and now I need some tips on a good stretchy line for crankbaits. The rod I'm currently using for CB is a fast action rod. Cheers. - WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MUSKY LURE?
