anyone have a link to a guide for cleaning and maintaining reels both baitcaster and spinning? i have some decent equipment now and would like to keep them going smooth.

Not sure they do Pfluegars, but see lots of good recommendations on http://www.lakeforktacklerepair.com/index.html.  They also have a video if you want to learn to do it yourself.  Another one I see recommended a lot is: http://www.southwesternparts.com/, again not sure if they do Pfluegars.

If you live close to Trenton, the Sportmen Center offers reel service for most brands, my personal expirience, after they serviced my Accurist I had to send it to David to get it fix.

Pflueger® is a proprietary company, meaning you only have the reels serviced through them at the address I posted or one of their satellite centers.
