I'm looking at getting the g-loomis shakey head road but I wanted to know if any of you have it. If you do what do you think of it and can I make long cast with it?

    Yes, it does cast.  ;D

    I don't have it, I use a Dobyns rod for shaky head and absolutely love it. Sensitive, light, and looks awesome. For quite a bit cheaper.

    I use a Kistler helium rod and it is super.

    But go for the G. Loomis and you will not be disappointed.

    I don 't have that rod, I fsih shakeys on my IMX CR721.

    Man I just cant 't tell you how much I like that rod.  :)
