I just got a pinnacle solene about 3 months ago and i haven't really been cleaning it too much... now it makes a screeching sound every now and then when i am casting. Any advice how to oil it or clean it or anything??

First get a hold of some quality reel oil.

Add one drop of oil to; each spool support bearing or bushing, then add 1 drop of oil to each bearing shim (the metal or fiber piece behind the spool support bearings).

(The bearing/bushing and shim under the cast control cap, and the bearing and shim in left side plate)

does this involve taking apart the reel? because 100+ little pieces and me are not going to get along and the reel will probably never get put together correctly
