I cant descide if I should get the St. Croix TBC70MHM Big Cranker or the Cabelas XMLTI Casting rod. Which one should I get?

    Don't have either rod, but I'd definitely take the St Croix over a Cabelas or Bass Pro rod.

    I'm a st croix guy. That said I've never used either one. I have heard that the straight xml series is a better value than the xmlti.

    The Legend Tournaments are very nice rods. ;D I'm not sure how they compare against each other though, so you might want to go to Cabelas and see what the other one feels like before buying.

    I have the big cranker and love it. :o  Been using it for my DD22's up until Monday when my TBC710HM Magnum Cranker came in.  Can't wait till this weekend when I can give it a shot.  I say get the St. Croix.
