Shimano Question

Featured Replies

I'm looking at the Shimano Citica with a gear ratio of 6.2:1. What is the difference between the CI200D, CI200DPV, and the CI200DSV? I noticed that they both have the same number of bearings. Does it have something to do with the size of the spool? I need some help, as I am now really confused. :-/

Does it have something to do with the size of the spool?

The line capacity and/ or the gear ratio:

200D.- GR 6.2:1, IPT 26, line capacity --> 8/180, 10/155, 14/110

200DPV.- GR 5:1 IPT 21

200DSV.- Same gear ratio, same IPT but different line capacity 10/180, 12/150, 14/120

100DSV.- smaller reel, lighter, no HEG gearing.

Raul covered it...i forgot to mention the DPV is a lower gear version.

I'm looking to get a 100D after winter.

Delo's has all three 200 models in the same gear ratio, so the only difference is the size of the spool and IPT?

Thanks for the help!

No, the DPV is 5.1:1.
