I was just wondering how do you fish a spoon. I mean do you use trailers or what? And how do you retrieve a spoon (what are your techniques)? O and something else... what type of vegetation, or cover should they be thrown into, if any?

i use a jign spoon

just tieit on right out of the box

and drop to fish and shake it a bit

they work good on schooling fish. look at a kastmaster made by acme lures. i like the one with the bucktail on it. if you can find fish schooling throw it out there and bounce up and down back to the boat and it is sometimes a deadly tactic for almost any kind of fish.

Not sure if I made this up or not./......but the best spoon fishing iv done is with a small "Crappie tube" silver sparkle color, as a trailor

it makes it a 2 part lure, and the action is great

get a small kastmaster, and hook a small tube on the end, hook it through the tiny nose

this thing looks just like a fish its smazing......just bring it in straight, let it fall, up and down, you wanna look like an injured baitfish......

another thing, this does reaL good at like 6:30 about 5 ft from the shoreline, when the bass are going up and down the banks....

i was killing it on this small lure the other day....
