Bass Pro shops

I would think it would be winter clearance time at BPS

Doesn't seem to be a ton of sales on-line

I don't have one close buy, has anyone noticed any extra speecial deals in - store?

IE clearancing rods or reels or tackle bags etc

I was at the Bass Pro in Naples, Florida today.

I got a 7' St. Croix Avid for $119!

I thought it was a steal!  They had several and they had printed clearance tags on them, I would think similar deals would be available at other stores.

Closer to spring is when they really bag out the slaes1

I tracked prices closely at BPS last year online and you will not see CrAzY   deals until after December 1st and they will get better until they run out of stock after Christmas.  I bought an Extreme Reel for $47.99.  I bought Tourney Special Rods for $29.99.  I think I got a Rick Clunn reel for $59.99.  I should have purchased the Johnny Morris reel for $99.99.  I think all of these prices hit around the 15th of December.  I watched things go out of stock right before Christmas and miraculously be back in stock a week after Christmas.  Those prices will usually stick if a new model comes out.  I am going to pick up a least one expensive rod and reel this time.

You could be right Muddy, but I bought two left-handed Slaes1's for $7.99 each today.  Now that's a steal!
