BPS Thanksgiving Sale

Featured Replies

This is going to be my last post in this thread because I can see tempers possibly flaring up.

LuckyK went and saw the combos today.  They are not the official Pro Qualifier, but more like putting a Bionic Blade rod with a Extreme reel which is still a good combo, but IMO is nowhere near a true Pro Qaulifier.  I think putting the PQ name on a cheaper product is shady but atleast everyone who reads this thread has this knowledge and can make there own decision.  I really hope what LuckyinKentucky saw with the individual wrapping is true for all the Bass Pro Shops now.  I just caution you to inspect the rod closely before you buy it.  If you see a small streak and the coloration is "blurred" or "blemished" it's most likely that it has hit something.  Also, apply some pressure to the tip of the rod and to all the guides.  If it pasts that initial test, most likely it hasn't been abused.  Also, hang on to those receipts.  BPS has an EXCELLENT warranty program and as long as you have the receipt or you have it recorded on your rewards card, they will exchange the rod or reel no questions ask for 1 year from the date of purchase if it breaks.

Hope this helps and happy holiday money spending   :o
