I am going to be fishing tommorow and was wondering if top water is productive this time of year. The water us partly stained and also what lure? thanks alot

It depends.  If the water is about 50 degrees F as an average temp the general consencious is that the fish bite up top (well more over all) mid day (i.e. after the sun has had a chance to warm the water).  If you can and if your water temp variation is wide enough find some hot springs or warm spots on the area your are fishing the deeper and warmer areas is whare all the trophy bass and blues are going to be.
