I just bought my first baitcaster off of bassproshop.com

i have been using spin cast all of my life, and i was wondering if ther were any big tips on how to use a baitcaster

i no i have to keep my finger on the spool to prevent backlash

nything else i need to know?

one thing that helped me a lot, was to stop trying to launch the lure as hard as i could (causing backlash like a beast)
