Rod repair local or on line.....

Featured Replies

Hey all....

I have a rod that needs one of the eyes repaired. (A Rhino one piece casting rod...older 5' 6"). Does anyone know of a rod repair in the New England area? How about an on line repair service? Is this rod even worth repairing? Thanks!

Alan

If it is the rhino that I am thinking of (Wally World 20$) I would not worry about trying to replace it. The shipping or maintence alone would cost more than the rod itself.

Not trying to sound mean, but I agree. A Rhino is not worth repairing when weighing the cost between replacing a guide and buying a new one.

Bassnajr,

The points made here are good ones..

If your looking for a local rod guy, here ya go give this one a try, and see what they say..

Got it..thanks gutY. it's not worth it.

I got it with a bunch of vintage rods and know nothing about it. It looks like an Ugly Stick (Clear top) that's why I thought it might be worth kepping but...

OUT SHE GOES!!!!!
