Cabelas is having a REVO Rebate Special. I have their special edition red one that I paid $79.99 on special a last summer. I just went and found out they have a $50.00 rebate on all REVO's.

That is the $149.00 Revo with the $199.00 Revo Drag system So you get the $199 Revo for $89.00 after rebate.

Good deal, IMO.

Do you have to purchase the rod and reel at full price?  Lets say you find the reel on sale or you find the rod on sale.  Does the rebate still apply?  The rebate does not state you have to pay original price on the items.  Anybody know?

It just says "at retail."  I don't think you have to buy the rod and reel at the same time either, just both within the offer period.  I just bought a Fenwick rod and I'm going to buy another Abu to put on it in the next week or so.  I will be requesting the rebate.
