Daiwa Tierra, Daiwa TD-Pro (BPS), Cabelas Prodigy

Featured Replies

The Daiwa Tierra, Daiwa TD-Pro (BPS), & Cabelas Prodigy all appear to be based upon the Daiwa TD Advantage. Are there any significant differences, and how would these reels be for B/C a novice?

Thanks

All of these reals are great and do seem to be based on the team daiwa technology.....now I'm not sure how much the Daiwa TD runs but I know the cabelas prodigy is about 100 bucks and is very comporable to the Tierra which is like 120

I've been looking at the td and will probably pick one up soon.  It felt

better to me than the other two for some reason,  plus I think it has more bearings.

For me is the Tierra even so they are at similar level but you have the Daiwa support and parts availability
