Tomorrow Morning: Pond Fishing: Help

Featured Replies

Experts,

I will be fishing a 6 acre pond tomorrow. Sunrise is about 7:11. Probably  going to be blue skies once the sun is up.

It is going to get down to 46 tonight...high of 71 tomorrow.

Would you guys have any guidance for tackle? Is it fall yet?

Obviously "time is of the essence" :D

cheers

Top 3 for you in no order....

5 inch Senko or ***.

3/8th oz Jig with either a Yum super chunk trailor, or a GYCB creature bait trailor(thanks roadwarrior)

Your favorite black buzzbait

Water has turned here, topwater has died.

Go slow and low.

Jigs or craw imitations on the bottom

slow- deadstick

I dunno where you are, but fall is just settling in here.  I'm in NoVa and we've had 3 cool days in a row, after about two weeks of 80+ degrees, and today I am going to use some Zoom Jerkbaits, Colorado Bladed spinnerbaits, and square-lipped cranks.  If these faster baits don't do it for me, I'm gonna throw a weightless trick worm into heavy cover and along the reed line.
