Of these two reels which one is the better? I think the cost is the same for the two.

im a garcia guy and i handled both and IMHO that exceler is the best bang for your buck on any reel under 80 bucks its aluminum and im a big fan of reels made of this and at 70 bucks wow

I got two words to say about the Exceler, save up.  The Megaforce feels like a better reel. You may want to find a TDA 150 on sale if you want to stay with Daiwa.  I had one and gave it away to my father.  He loves it because it was free.  It is not a bad starter reel though.

Exceler b/c reel.  I tried the Megaforce & did not like the fact that if I use the twitchin' bar, my left hand was not on the handle.  I would need to take my hand off & operate the t-bar w/ my right thumb.  If I got a fish on, then I would have to grab the handle...didn't care for that idea.  Also I didn't like only having one hand to the rod/reel while t-barring it.

The Exceler is very, very good at that price!

I guess I may not have given enough time to warm up to it.  But, I have a HSTA coming.  The twitch bar is something I bet won't even get used by a lot of fishermen, it just looks cool.
