braid for crankbaits?

I use braid with a st. croix fiberglass rod . I set my drag a little lighter then I would if I was using mono.

i use braid cranking over weeds and deep cranking weed edges.i use flouro cranking rocks .set your drag looser and you will not lose fish.

I used to use PowerPro exclusively when I fished a crankbait. However, one thing I found is when you are fishing areas with a lot

of wood or other snags, it is very hard to pop your bait free like you

can do with Monofilament and Flourocarbon lines. So now I use PowerPro for everything, but cranking.
