I'm weak.....Citica 200DPV

Featured Replies

Couldn't pass up a Citica 200DPV for 69 dollars after rebate.

I needed a decent cranking reel as my Citica 100dsv and 200d are a tad too fast. Even when I slow down I feel like I can't get into a good rythem. Anyone own this reel and what other uses do you use it for?

Wife is going to kill me!

I owned Curado 200 DHSV which is the same size and that thing is HUGE! I couldn't even stand to use after using my 100's. You may be different, and love it. I used it one time and sold it.

I have a 200d and a 100dsv Citica.

Love both. The size difference doesn't bother me at all.

I have some 200Ds and one 200DPV.  I use the DPV almost exclusively for deep cranking, though once in awhile I'll use shallower crankbaits with it.  I keep it spooled with fluorocarbon to get my cranks as deep as they will go.

i have a 200D, and a 100DSV. i got the 200 before the 100, and after using the 100 i really wish i could trade in the 200 for a 100. the 200 is just TOO BIG and heavy for my hands... :-/

i use my 100 for cranking and love it so much!!!! i really dont see a need for a slow ratio for a cranking reel...i could understand if you did real deep cranking (15ft.+), but i never go deeper than 10 feet, usually in the topwater to 6 foot range. 6.2:1 is great for me!

Your right it isn't a "need" item lol. Stupid baitmonkey. Should be great for slow rolling spinnerbaits down along weedlines and downed trees. IMO it's just me looking for an excuse to by another Citica!  ;D  8-)
