i just started using fc and just was wondering if you should use any special knot or just tie the same as you would mono? thanks for your help.

I use a Palamor Knot with no problems.

Anybody use the Jansik knot? I've never heard of it before but I saw it on ESPN or Outdoor channel the other day , they tested it against the Improved Clinch and it beat it on FC, braid and mono.  I'm thinking about trying it.

The Palamor knot was the best for each of the line types on the In-Fishermen knot wars.

I am a San Diego jam knot user but will have to admit the Palomar is a bit stronger on fluro.  I hate it but am using it.

Any knot will work on flouro as long as you lube it well and cinch it down s-l-o-w-l-y.

Friction generated by pulling it together quickly will weaken the knot, particularly in flouro.
