Hello to all I was giving a testimomy.  I bought two new Kistler rods. both are 7 feet magnesium rods one is the Med. fiberglass crankbait rod and the carolina rig special Hvy. both are really light and can fish with all day great feeling.  If you haven't tried one of Kistler rods you should. Great Rods.

Hey not to hijack the thread, but I almost purchased a kistler rod last month, but the warranty told me to do otherwise.

Can anyone explain exactly how their warranty works? Sounds like the first year is covered, but after that, you have to ship the rod to them, and they'll let you know how much $$ to replace it.

There's no lifetime  expedited service like Loomis, Powell, Dobyns, St Croix, etc?

Well let put it like this. I bought a Magnesium rod from a guy online and I broke it. The rod was over a year old. I sent it to kistler and the replaced it for free. I wasnt even the origional owner. Give them a call they are very easy to get aold of and just ask your concers. They are second to none.

Fished with a LTX yesterday. It is awesome
