I was looking at the carrot stick and thought it was dumb :) I wanted to know if they are good or not :-?

They look dumb, but for the price it is the lightest most sensitive rod you will ever use. Amazing is the only way to put it. Use one and you will have to stock up on them. Still have never heard of one person who regretting buying one.

As for the people who are concerned with the strength and how they "break easily", they must have just gotten one bad rod like every other company makes once in a while.

I picked one up at sportsmans warehouse this weekend... and wow it was light. Trflshfl (jay) always gave me crap when I told him someday i would own one... well we did the flick the end of the rod test and wow super sensitive whereas other rods we did that to you could barely feel it.  Needless to say thats my next rod buy and probably his too.  I know our test isn't all that accurate but just doin that upped my bait monkeys mojo so next check I will be getting one
